Meet Our Support Agents

Our support agents in Mali are local people who share many of the same passions as our customers. We asked two of them about the teams they support, what they love about their work and what makes Malian culture special.

Ichiaka

Ichiaka is a passionate football fan. He supports the Mali national team, the Eagles, and Real Madrid, a club he admires for its history and high standards. He follows Mali’s national basketball teams too, for the discipline and teamwork the sport demands.

Football also helps him connect with the customers he speaks to every day.

“Football plays an important role in the lives of many Malians. Many of our customers share the same passion, so it’s a great way to connect.”

He’s often the first person a customer speaks to, and that direct contact is what he enjoys most about his work, along with the variety each day brings.

“Every interaction is an opportunity to build trust, and to learn something new.”

For Ichiaka, Malian culture is a real strength in his work.

“What makes it special is our hospitality, solidarity, respect for others, and the importance we place on human relationships. We can speak with customers in French, and in Bambara when it suits them. It makes the conversation more comfortable.”

Oumar

Oumar is a huge NBA fan, drawn to the intense style of the Los Angeles Lakers.

“It’s a great way to share the same enthusiasm as our customers.”

He joined our Mali team in 2026, after a career as a communications manager, and for him, the job is all about trust.

“Our role goes far beyond simply providing assistance. It’s about building a bond of trust straight away.”

What he values most about the team is its openness.

“Transparency and mutual support are fundamental here. That gives us the freedom to take positive initiatives every day.”
